We have operators who have vast experience in machining Industrial Laminates and fully understand the different techniques that are often required to machine these types of products.

 

 

Components that were once produced as a moulded part due to a high demand, can no longer be justified on cost grounds. With the high capital cost of new tooling and very often significantly reduced quantities a machined part is much more economic. As our example shows, we are able to machine these types of components from sheet material and consequently significantly reduce the cost of the part.

 

 

Extraction Equipment

In order to machine Industrial Laminates it is essential for Health and Safety that an efficient extraction system is present. To this end we have recently invested in a new highly specified extraction unit to improve our capabilities.

 

Sanding Facility

Jones Nuttall Ltd have a facility for sanding Industrial Laminates to tight tolerances (+/- 0.25mm) when the material is in full sheet form, however when the item is either a small piece part or a machined component we are able to sand to even tighter tolerances (+/- 0.1mm).
